Did you know The Mercy Ministries (TMM) couldn't exist without its partnership with specialty doctors and dentists who volunteer their time and services to Mercy patients? We also couldn't exist without our volunteers who log an annual average of $65,000 in labor each year! Our volunteers and partners are very special to us, and, like all healthy people, they truly know how to live a life giving back to the community around them.
“You make a living by what you get. You make a life by what you give.”
National Dentist's Day was celebrated at the beginning of the month, and TMM delivered "thank you" baskets, including items donated by Cookie Boss Bakery and Catering of Lyons, Renae Salter of the Holt's Bakery family, and Bland Farms of Glennville/Vidalia.
This week, we celebrate National Doctor's Day, with Bland Farms and TMM Board Members, Lauren Jordan and Lauren O'Neil donating items for TMM's doctor partner's "thank you" baskets.

“Volunteering is the ultimate exercise in democracy. You vote in elections once a year, but when you volunteer, you vote every day about the kind of community you want to live in”.
